Knowledge & Learning

The agent gets smarter the more you use it.

The agent remembers your app

As the agent interacts with your app, it builds up an understanding of each page - what's on it, how it behaves, and how to navigate it. This understanding carries over between sessions, so the agent gets faster and more accurate over time.

The first time the agent visits a page, it needs to explore. The second time, it already knows the layout and can get straight to work.

What the agent remembers

  • Page layouts and key elements
  • Form fields, their types, and validation rules
  • How pages connect and where navigation leads
  • Quirks, edge cases, and unexpected behaviors
  • Multi-step flow summaries (like checkout or signup sequences)

Shared across projects

If you have multiple Lama projects that test the same website, they automatically share what the agent has learned. The agent's understanding of your app grows over time regardless of which project you're working in.

Teaching the agent yourself

You can manually add information from the Knowledge panel in the sidebar. This is useful for things the agent can't discover on its own:

  • Login credentials for different user roles (admin, editor, viewer)
  • Business rules and expected behaviors
  • Known edge cases and how to trigger them
  • Test environment details (API endpoints, feature flags)
The more the agent knows upfront, the less time it spends figuring things out before getting to work.
